Perfect print for my photo wall:
Inspired by the lovely Sarah and Bendrix print below I thought I would share with you one of my favorite Edith Piaf songs. Enjoy!
Life is just too short for regrets…
Because so many of my friends love wine, ahem – Rosalind’s Christmas tree skirt below…
I thought decanters would make a great holiday gift.
Find below some of my faves.
or as we like our decanters in Texas…
|um..truly not my style, but I found them amusing.
Anthropolgie suggests that if you like these decanters you
might also like this. I’ll take ten!
Are you a red or white wine gal?
In addendum to my metallics/gold Lust List, I have decided to continue with the other well known metal – Ag. My old roommate was a science teacher and I often enjoyed being quizzed over the periodic table elements. How well do you remember your element symbols? What can I say, I’m always looking for a new way to impress the men…
Quick name the symbol for iron!
Sometimes for fun I bake. I mean who doesn’t? A couple summers ago – the summer of I Gotta Feeling (I mark summers by songs) – I went through a scone obsession. My friend Rosalind and I discovered this pumpkin cinnamon chip scone recipe, and it became our go-to. This recipe is particularly perfect for the holiday season due to its use of cinnamon chips. If you’ve never baked with them before stop everything you’re doing and make these!
Thanks to Ros for the pictures.
We’ve never made them with the
icing but it sounds good!
Another killer (literally – look at all
that buttah)/one of our fave scone recipes found here.
Have you ever baked scones?
Any great Black Friday finds?
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I’m cooking a few dishes before heading to a potluck dinner at a friends in the city. Hope everyone is having a great holiday.
I’m thankful for you and you and you.
What are you doing for Thanksgiving?
