Funnily enough, I used to hate breakfast. Anyone who knew me below the age of 15 can attest to this statement. I would sleep until noon on the weekends solely to skip what I thought was the worst meal of the day. I would eat the funniest things for breakfast – pizza, pasta and I probably would have eaten ice cream if that was a choice. I’ll take back my zippy teen metabolism any day now! Fast forward to my twenties, and I blissfully rise at 8am to make coffee, read the paper and eat bananas with peanut butter. I find mornings blissfully relaxing. The time to clear my mind before a long day at work.
